-Pablo Larrazabal over Joost Luiten//Kim Felton: The spanish has good chances of doing a good performance in this tournament and his only real opponent in this 2/3 is Joost Luiten, but he should be able to outperform him.

-Chris Wood over Steve Webster//Joel Sjoholm: Chris Wood is one of the overall favourites for this Open. He has already had great performances this year and should have no problems to get into the cut of this tournament.

-Thorbjorn Olesen over George Coetzee//Michael Hendry: This young man comes to this tournament after winning in Sicilian Open nearly 3 weeks ago. Coetzee might have something to say with him winning, but I like the odds on Olesen and I like the young player a lot.

-Paul Lawrie over Alexander Noren//Lian Wen-Chong: Wen-Chong is the chinese chance at this tournament, but Paul Lawrie should be able to take him in this round. I like how Lawrie often starts with a good performance, but his later rounds don't always put up the same fight.

-Danny Willett over Brett Rumford//Niclas Fasth: I would like some higher odds on this one, but I'm still taking it. Willet comes from a great performance at Malaysian Open and I expect him to put up a fight again. Brett Rumford will be his man to beat, and he has had some good results lately but his R1 aren't that great.
