Cardiff take on West Ham in the first play off matches for the right to play in the Premiership and I can see both matches being high scoring.
West Ham just missed out on automatic promotion at the weekend but have been playing very well at the end of the season and in their last 8 matches (home and away) they won 5, drew 2 and lost 1 but it is their goal scoring record which stands out and having scored 81 goals in total (only Southampon have scored more goals) and 40 goals away from home (only Birmingham have scored more away from home) and 22 goals scored in their last 8 matches you can start to see that this game could be high scoring. They will be desperate to get a good start to ensure they can take a lead back for the home leg.
Cardiff scraped into the play off places with a couple of good wins at the end of the season and I think they will struggle against an in form West Ham. cardiff also like to score goals having scored 66 in total and 37 at home and they will have to be on top of their game if they are to come out of this match with a positive result. I can see both teams playing attacking football and I think that the goals will flow although the bookies do not have the same view.
I am going for medium staked of 6 points on this match to be over 2.5 goals and will have a seperate bet on West Ham to win for 4 points

I saw the game, actually, that wass so unlucky that there were no third goal,u cannot believe how many chances from miller and collison and cole from w.ham was missed!! i still think that was a very good bet. cheers horseman, hope today's game make it up

i check the date for the exact same score line. on 4 march 2012 Cardiff 0 Westham 2 well, strange coincident. but i did my research before i bet. if you got the time, do a search on Barcelona v Malaga, the scoreline 4-1 occurred 3 times. for yesterday match i bet on 4, 5 and 6 goals.

Full time, Cardiff 0 Westham 2 i just bet on westham to win at $2.40 with Singapore Pools. The scoreline is the same as Chelsea v Newcastle United. the return leg of this match is tricky as Westham can afford to lose by 1 goals or they would be happy with a draw. but their last game with Hull City ended 2-1 to westham at their home stadium. i will skip this return match.
i still see 0-2 at 90 mins. well i say it is luck.

The head to head doesnt look brilliant I admit but the West Ham cardiff game (0-1) was the first game of the season and a lot has changed to these sides over that time and both of these sides have excellent scoring records since that opening fixture so although it is more risky than the Blackpool Vs Birmingham over 2.5 goals bet I have it is at lower stakes.

It was a very open match and at 2-0 inside the first half I was very confident that we would get a 3rd goal but somehow it never came despite so many great chances from both sides - I did win with the West Ham to win bet and all in all on the match over the two bets made a profit (small). onwards and upwards to the next game
