SPLIT TO WIN ML AT ODDS 1.77
Final result: 82 - 70Profit: 17.70 - 10 = 7.7
Holy crap! Take advantage of those odds here as they will be smashed until game start.
Very very short. Split (5th, 7-3) didn't lost a single game at home this season. That makes 10 during the regular season and 5 in this play-offs for a grand total of 15 home wins! They already handled Zadar and more important Cedevita (Adriatic League finalist and Euroleague participant for Croatia next season) at home. Split has one game in hand and would definitely secure the 3rd place ahead the play-offs with a home win here. The hosts are coming off an important 83-76 away with at Sibenik, securing the play-offs already with two rounds left.
Zagreb (3rd 6-5) currently occupies the 3rd spot, but has one game more than their hosts and also lost the first leg at Zadar which is currently 4th placed. Zagreb and Zadar will decide the 4th team which will join Cibona, Cedevita and Split in the play-offs in their direct encounter on Sunday. The guests are coming of a 85-100 defeat against Cibona, but it has to be mentioned that Cibona played almost the entire match with their bench and didn't put the pedal to the metal in that game. Zagreb will miss three of five starters in todays match, as Simon, Masic, Babic and Kasun will all miss this encounter due to injury. That leaves the guests to Mulaomerovic who is fighting to be drafted by the worst NBA team in franchise history, the Charlotte Bobcats. That's a joke ...
This is on paper a very important game, especially for Zagreb who is fighting for the last available play-off spot. However the reality, the current form, the home strength of Split, and most important Zagreb's long injury list and awful performances of late, are more than enough reasons to take Split in this one.
Max stakes 10/10 on Split to win.
Good luck!

Just hedge your series bet if the Lakers should be confronted with their elimination. That's already enough. Let's suppose there would be a game 7. You just have to take the Nuggets to win that one to cover your series bet. If they win, you're even or have minimized your loss or even won some money depending on the odds. If they lose, you're good too, because your series bet passed. That way you can minimize your loss(es). Depending on the odds you can even make some money that way. Besides, I think you're very safe with your bet as I don't see the Nuggets to qualify.
Nice bet poglavica, didn't have enough on my bookie to put up a good stake but still won a good money. I'd like to ask your opinion on something else. Due to my missclick and missread, I placed a bet on error. This was 1st game on the NBA Lakers-Nuggets series, and I wanted to bet high stakes on Lakers to win the 1st game. Chose wrong bet and placed on Lakers to qualify, at same odds, that's how I bet on wrong event haha Do you think I should cover myself now that odds on Nuggets are above 6? Or are Lakers safe enough to win it and get me my money? I already got my opinion but I would like to hear yours too. Thanks!
If Zagreb wins today I'm ready to quit betting ... This team can hardly wait that the summer begins so they're free to leave the club and search for other engagements. Zagreb is falling apart and Split will help them to achieve that even faster. As said, this is for Zagreb just an important game on paper, the reality looks otherwise. They have financial problems and couldn't play the Adriatic league anyway next season, even if they would qualify for the play-offs. The only thing they achieved is to ruin the biggest Croatian talent in basketball since years; Saric. They don't let him go to go to other healthier clubs, instead he is sitting on the bench for the most part of the game. Even if he plays all 40 minutes today, what's unlikely to happen, he is still far from the quality of Drazen Petrovic (R.I.P.) and can't decide a game on its own. Besides, Split would automatically secure the 3rd place and therefore the Adriatic league participation next season. Split won the first game +28 leading with +40 at halftime. They beat Cedevita at home, they beat Zadar at home, they're ready to beat Cibona at home. Zagreb is nothing compared to the aforementioned teams. On top of all that, Zagreb is playing without a real center (Kasun) and Split with the best center in the league (Vujcic). Have you ever played basketball without a center? That's though as you have to hit at least 60% from outside to have any chance at all and that doesn't happen so often. Within the NBA everything is possible as we saw impressively yesterday. In Croatia there exists some other "invisible" rules the most outside aren't aware off. That said, I repeat once again, if Zagreb wins today, I'm ready to quite betting ...
I read an article and it said that Masic will play. And because this match can already decide who will paly ABA League next season I wouldn't be surprised if Zagreb would win this one... They are very "strange" team and nobody can predict how they will play... I wanted to put this pick on my ticket because I saw a 10/10 stake but I really don't know now when Masic, important player, will play...

What Were The Odds Of That?

I also think Nuggets have very little chances if any to win the series. I'm quite sure Lakers will win at least one of the games in Denver. Thanks for your insight.
