So, leaving his Knicks alone tonight, the same will need their Madison Square Garden more than ever. How can the Knicks win to get back into this series? Most likely only if Le Bron and Wade missed their flight to NYC. The other solution is defense. The Knicks to have any chances to win have to limit the Heats' possessions and run the shot clock down in every offensive action. With the numerous offensive concerns this Knicks have, an outstanding defense is the only solution for them.

The Heat were in control of the happenings in all eight quarters so far. Most of you and the 90% of the casual bettors out there will ride them again tonight. Beware though, the Heat aren't the same team as when they play in Miami. It is a well-known fact that a road game is much different from a home game, especially at such a loud crowd as in NYC. Miami's outstanding defense is well-known, and they will stick with the same also tonight, that's for sure. If the Heat take once again an early lead, they will most likely take also this one home and lead the series 3-0. If that doesn't happens, than the Knicks will have their chances.

In game 1 these two teams combined 167 points. The second game was totally different and saw them putting huge 198 points on the board. That will influence the most out there to take the over. But I believe that we will see something in between the above two numbers. Miami put up 100 points or more on the scoreboard in both matches, but as already mentioned, a road game is different. Running for their lives and going a high tempo game is for sure not the way the Knicks want to play in game 3. The Knicks are in (offensive) trouble and the only way this game goes over would imply a high shooting percentage of NY, and that's unlikely to happen.

To sum up, I see this one going under the posted total and the Knicks covering the five points. Take note that the only meeting in NYC between these two teams went under the posted total (85-93). As mentioned, if the Heat take an early lead, forget about the cover. Everything else is pure value. I'm therefore with the under as main play (7 units), adding 2 units on the ML win of the Knicks as side play.
