Match from spansih handball league, Liga ASOBAL.

I assume most of you don't know almost anything about spanish handball league, so I'll give you some information about this two teams.
Today's game promises to be great, even if Barcelona will surely win it and even if Granollers is a lot weaker than them, because it is a derby and because of the recent events on Barcelona's team.

Granollers is a city full of handball tradition, just about 30 minutes away of Barcelona. The rivalry between this two teams is a healthy one, without much hate or any major incidents.
The players in the younger teams play against the other since they are very young, and know how important this games are. On younger teams, Barcelona and Granollers are often between the top panish teams, being the catalan region the one with the best teams, historically.


I'd like to explain a bit of the recent situation between this two teams. Barcelona has just been eliminated from Champions League by Copenhaguen, with a very very poor performance of Laszlo Nagy.
Right after the defeat, the hispano-hungarian announced he has a contract with Veszprem, from Hungary, to play there at next season or at the following one, and to become the best paid handball player in history. Barcelona claim they tried to avoid this situation, but that the player wouldn't accept less money.
It is important to note that if Nagy is to leave this summer, Veszprem would have to pay 3 million euros, making this the most expensive player in history, by over twice the actual record.

The affair doesn't end here. Nagy was asked to choose between two spansih coaches for his team: his former team partner Mariano Ortega or his former coach Manolo Cadenas, currently Granollers coach, who will surely not be in Granollers next season.
Barcelona supporters are very angry with Nagy, and I expect a good mix of supporters between the two teams tomorrow, because tickets are easy to obtain for free.




Now, moving on to the game itself and leaving the drama and everything else behind...
I'm taking an Under because I expect a very close score. Both teams have great keepers.
For Barcelona, I expect Saric to rest and let Sjostrand play. Both of them are very good goalies and will have a great performance, Saric being the better one.
Granollers will probably play with Gonzalo Perez de Vargas. This guy is very young, just 20, and is in fact under Barcelona's contract but playing on Granollers for a year. Even if he's very loved at his actual team, he is thought to be leaving for next season, because with his eprformance on this one he will surely find a lot of better offers. Gonzalo had a great game last week against Atletico de Madrid, and I think he will do a similar performance today.

Barcelona has a very tough defense and Granollers will have a lot of problems to pass over it. I expect them to score just 11 goals on the first half.
Granollers' defense is not so good, but they should hold Barcelona players and not search for a fast game. They should slow the game down to make it advance at their pace, and with this waste some time that can give us the bet.

I'm also counting on Rutenka to probably rest for part of the game and let Igropulo play, and for Nagy to not play much, because I don't think his coach is happy with the news he had.
Even if Nagy plays, he is not much of a worry because I don't think he will give his best.
I want to note that next saturday Barcelona is playing against Atletico de Madrid at home, and that match should decide Liga ASOBAL's 2012 winner, because teams are just with 2 points difference from Barcelona's win over Atl Madrid earlier this year.


I'm betting on the first half to be under 28.5 goals.
The line is based on the first leg match, that went 12-17 on the first half, Barcleona winning. That half was a bit crazy with many goals being scored at the last 10 minutes. I hope that's not the case for today.
