In this very important match for both teams I believe that Ascoli is in better position to win this match. Both teams struggling all season to avoid relegation and with five matches left they are still not safe. Ascoli has done a very good season but the seven point deduction has made their life very tough throughout the season and now they are just four points above playout zone, but without the deduction they would have been pretty safe. On the other hand Empoli currently is in the last playout place and are fighting for every possible point as they are just three points above Vicenza who are the last team to relegate directly to Lega Pro. So as it seems this match is very crucial for both teams. I am going with Ascoli in this match because lately they have been in an excellent form winning five from their last seven matches and defeating teams like Pescara, Brescia and Cittadella and at home they are very dangerous. Their defense is doing great things lately as they have allowed just five goals in the last ten matches and I don't believe that Empoli will cause to much problems to them. Empoli has been a very poor team when playing away from home and are on of the weakest guests. Moreover they will miss today important players such as Valdifiori, Vinci, Tonelli, Gallozzi e Mori while for the home team no big problems.
