NO MORE THAN 2 GOALS

Final result: 0 - 2
Profit: 17.60 - 8 = 9.6

It's a big game at St James Park as title chasing Man City make the trip north to take on Champions League chasing Newcastle and for me this game will be full of tension, pressure and finish with less than 3 goals

Newcastle have been the surprise package in this years Premier League and have amazed many (myself included) with their ability to last the distance and with 2 games remaining they're only outside of the top 4 on goal difference and with this game kicking off early on Sunday they can actually climb above both Tottenham and Arsenal into 3rd, although Tottenham will then have the opportunity to get back above them when they travel to Villa a little later on Sunday. However, the incentive to get into 3rd and knowing they can't go into next weeks final fixture any worse than 4th if they win this game is a great incentive for the home side. Their home form has been impressive all season with just 2 defeats from 18 fixtures and in Cisse they have a centre forward in fantastic form who will cause problems for the best of defences

Man City stand on the verge of their maiden Premier League title but only goal difference seperates them from Utd so they know that 2 wins from their last 2 fixtures is essential or they'll most likely finish 2nd. However, whilst their home form has been outstanding with 17 wins and 1 draw from their 18 games their away form hasn't been as impressive with just 9 wins from 18 to date and a visit to Newcastle would've been well down the list of destinations that Manchini would like to be visiting this weekend

I don't think the odds on an away win are attractive enough here for me given the form of Newcastle and whilst it wouldn't be a major shock if Newcastle managed to win I wouldn't be risking my money on it given the morale boasting victory City enjoyed this week against Utd to put themselves top of the table so instead I've turned to the goals market here and I'm going against the grain by backing it to finish under 2.5 goals

Many feel it will finish over as both teams need to win and a draw won't really help either side at this stage. This is offcourse true but sometimes the pressure on teams in matches like this leads to low scoring games and for me this will happen again here as I don't see either team risking too much until the later stages of the game so a low scoring opening could well be on the cards here

Only 5 of Man City's last 16 away games have finished above this line and only 1 of Newcastle's last 5 home games have finished above this line and I have a strong feeling that these two teams will cancel each other out for long spells and we won't see an open attacking match that many seem to have predicted

The early kick off also stiffles the atmosphere in these games at times and I just feel this is going to be a very cagey game that won't live up to the hype

The match to finish with less than 3 goals is my choice here... Good Luck

Nice tip! 1

Good 1st half for us folks.. Barry had only serious chance of game.. I expect game to open up more in 2nd half as City push more players forward but probably not until the last 15/20 mins so if we avoid a goal in the early 2nd half exchanges we should get this one home even with a frantic finish.. Good luck

Not long to wait to find out but I feel tension & pressure will prevail today rather than goals! Let's hope so

More worry of City More mistake of them as well.

if the 1st half ended 0-0, Man City will get very worry as they would need the 3 points. wait for them to make mistakes and NC will score and they might just park the bus after that.

i agree with your bet for the following reasons: Chelsea v NC = 2 goals Man City v Man Utd = 1 goal i don't think we will see 3 or 4 goals here.
