There is absolutely no reason to avoid those Nuggets on your betslip for tonight's NBA play-offs. The Nuggets have received their much-needed confidence boost by winning game three with 99-84. They took an early lead and were already up with 41-17 after 5 minutes in the 2nd quarter. Despite the Lakers closing that gap to -4 at some point in the 3rd quarter, the Nuggets never looked to give that game out of their hands and blew the Lakers out of the thin air in Denver. The series is back there where the Nuggets wanted it - it's close. They will be hugely motivated to even this series before heading back to Hollywood City.

The Lakers and Kobe felt the high altitude of Denver, and especially Kobe couldn't count on the referees while he was holding the ball and a Nugget was close to him. In addition, as already mentioned in my preview for game 2, the Lakers were outrun by the quick Nuggets and their deeper bench. The same Lakers would spend millions to have at least 20% of the bench the Spurs or the Nuggets have. The missing contribution of the Lakers' bench was impressively proved by Denver's benchmen who outscored Lakers' second choice men with incredible 39-9 in game 2. I don't see that trend coming to an end in game 4 tonight.

With the series approaching and the more Kobe will be on the field to do its own business, the bigger will the bench have a direct impact to this series. Without any help of their bench, the starting five of the Lakers' will suffer more and more because of the high tempo Denver is playing. I honestly don't see anyone jump out from the Lakers bench to make the difference tonight. Moreover, just to remember you. The Lakers are including this play-off series just 13-16 on the road during this shortened NBA season.

That said, this line with just 2 points is as cheap as chips. As a direct result of the enormous popularity the Lakers (still) enjoy among casual bettors, we have once again nice value by taking those Nuggets.
