Youzhny looked very solid in Munich where he reached the QF losing to Cilic. Youzhny is 12/5 and 2/2 on clay courts and has a winning record of 113/93 on this surface.
Marti is 17/14 and 13/10 on this surface where he also has a winning record of 145/93 on clay courts. They say Marti is something special but to me he looks ordinary. Last tournament he played was in Estoril losing to Munoz-De La Nava in the first round. Most of he’s matches have been played on ATP challenger tour.
I believe Youzhny should cover the handicap as Marti struggles against pace and with the altitude being extremely high, the balls should fly through the air. Therefore it will favour Youzhny greatly. Youzhny has also had good practice in Munich playing in similar conditions and he does not suffer any slip up, I see him covering the handicap.
