I am in two minds here as I see an over here because both players played usually long matches and also the Czech player as winner and I decided in the end to take Lucie Safarova to impose here.
Kanepi should suffer if her opponent will have her usual strong game on service because when this is happening she is hard to be broken and although the match is played on clay her powerful service and strong shots will work on clay also.
Kanepi jsut won a title at Estoril but this should work against her because is hard to be competitive two tournaments in a row on clay if you don't have the body suitable for this surface.
Yes Kanepi is for sure with high moral and yes she has played in the past many matches on clay and more important has won many matches son clay but I see the favorite, Safarova.
