In Group A we have Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, and Greece and I think that the Czech Republic will fail to qualify for the knock out stages.
Russia Topped their qualification group to get to Euro 2012 after playing 10 matches winning 7, drawing 2 and losing just 1 match and they scored 17 goals in those 10 matches but the most impressive thing was their solid defence as they only conceded 4 goals. With their solid defence and ability to score goals they are favourites to win teh group and although I cant really seperate them and Poland I am sure they will qualify.
Poland didnt have to qualify for Euro 2012 as they are co hosts so there isnt any meaningful stats on recent full internationals but they are a good side and with the home advantage they will be very likely to progress to the knockout stages.
Czech Republic finished 2nd in their qualifying group to Spain by a long way and having played 8 matches they won 4, drew 1 and lost 3 and this is probably the worst record of the qualifiers and I think they will lose to both Poland and Russia which will make it very hard for them to qualify from the group.
Greece topped their qualifying group just pipping Croatia to the top spot but apart from those 2 teams their group was relatively easy and with their record of played 10 won 7 and drawn 3 I think they will struggle against both Russia and Poland and hence will fail to qualify
In summary I think that the Czech republic will struggle against the 2 favourites and will not qualify for the knockout stages.

I am Macedonian, my wife is Russian. So, since two months I am here in Russia. And I will watch the European Soccer Championship here in Russia. Your analyse is great - correct in all views. The only thing I have to remark: Czech Republic is a tornament team. They are able to play better and better in every match during a tournament. And Russia - as i was able to watch their trainings and preparations in Moscow - has a big problem - they don't knoe, what it means to score. So - your analyse is correct, but let's see, how the Russian team will solve it's scoreing problem. The match against Italy 3:0 was a good answer. But, I still don't know, if one can trust them - when it is putting money on them. Poland is playing at home, so they might win this group. We will have half the answer already the first day - if Poland and Russia are going to win (Russia will have to score at least one goal for that...)
