This will be the game of the year for both teams. Their chances at having a great season are on this game, and both teams obviously have their reasons to win.
Both teams have overcome a radical change with their new coaches.
Bielsa has been doing his work since the start of the season. He has transformed the team, giving it a new way of playing and showing how a very young team can play.
He has brought light back to La Catedral and people are very happy with him and the work he has done with the team.
Not only has not Athelic de Bilbao won an european title yet, but his last title dates to season 83-84, when they won both the spanish league and the spanish cup. It's been a long time!
They will have a second chance against Barcelona, but we can all agree it will be harder at spanish cup, and the trophy is far less valuable.
Atletico de Madrid changed their coach midseason and Cholo Simeone has done a great job with the team.
He has inculcated his great defensive skils to the team and they are showing a great game. It is true, though, that with the roster they have, full of offensive players, the coach has found himself having to change his defensive approach to the game and let the team play a bit more aggressive.
They have had great results in the spanish league since he is sitting on the bench, but not this time please!
I'm taking this bet because I find that the odds are missleading. Odds for Bilbao are almost same as for a draw, and I don't see that being true.
Athelic is taking some holidays off Spanish League, they don't even play as they used to. this leads to the odds increase.
The team is not playing there because they are in preparation of Europa League, and they have direct orders to take care for themselves and not get injured, which just means they aren't trying hard.
Bielsa has been preparing this game for a long time, and I expect this preparation to turn into good results for him and for the whole city of Bilbao.

Summing up today's game: Falcao just proved why Atletico paid 40M€ for him, because rest of his team didn't do much. Was an entertaining game though.
Thanks TheGame, I usually try to give an extra insight when the match deserves it, or when I feel like writing a bit more (although this usually happens in my handball tips). I'm afraid of the match going overtime, but for me (and for almost everyone on BE it seems) Athletic is the favourite, and they have been waiting for this game for a long time.
Finally a decent tip of the day, tip of the day seems to have gone down the toilet since David hasnt been about.. GL man
My only regard is towards the teams actitude at the last part of the match. Chances of extra time are very high, but I like Bilbao because they have many weapons to break Atletico's defense.
I picked Bilbao to win this tournament at the start and got 16-1 each way - I was a bit worried when both manchester teams got dumped in the Europa cup from the Champions League but they have played very well to reach the final and have a great chance here and I also think the odds are too high for the Bilbao victory as I would say it would be an even match between 2 even teams.
