Having missed very few games in this year's IPL, one gets accustomed to the playing styles of the teams and more so one can see the subtle changes in the performance from game to game.

In the case of the Deccan Chargers, they are starting to look a more cohesive unit of late and their batting performances haven't got the results they gave perhaps deserved.

If you go by the adage that the league doesn't lie, then the Chargers are the worse side in this year's IPL. Their only two wins have come in the last five games, but they've lost their last two and just as worrying they lost 6 of their 7 games in Hyderabad last year.

The Kings XI are inconsistent and have lost a couple of games at least I would have expected them to win, including against the Rajasthan Royals in thier last home game at the weekend. They've looked pretty good under the interim leadership of David Hussey and I think they will bounce back against a Chargers' side that is still lacking confidence and on-the-field match winners.

Kings XI Punjab have actually won four consecutive matches away from home including good wins against Chennai Superkings, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

It's a decent wicket which will favour strong batting sides like Punjab. Deccan are extremely unlikely to reach last four now, whereas Kings XI are playing to qualify for the playoffs and I fancy them to add another two points to their cause.

I'm backing Punjab to win and Shaun Marsh to be their Top Batsman - he owes me one.
