First round ATP Madrid Masters 1000
First time meeting for the two players. Young, talented Raonic from Canada versus veteran from Argentina, Nalbandian. Raonic is approaching top 20 ranking, he is now ranked 23. I believe by the end of year he will be in (or near) top 10. His serve is incredible. This blue clay could be very suitable for him. Yesterday I have seen some matches with quite a lot aces ( Serena Williams served 14 aces, Andreev had 11 aces, I cannot imagine how much is Raonic able to serve...). On the other hand, Nalbandian is very, very good player, I have every respect for him, but he could be tired since he has played ATP Belgrade semifinals only three days ago. He lost it to Seppi. He had no enough time to adjust to the blue clay, while Raonic has been practising on the courts for a while, so another advantage for him. He also had some nice results lately (win over Andy Murray...) so I'm going to back him in this bet...
