I like the look of William Buick's ride KINGAROO in this race. A regular winner at this course and on this fibresand surface, Kingaroo was a cosy winner here last time out over 1m 3f. Not particularly fancied that day (8/1), he will be a much warmer order to follow up today. He has gone up 3lb for that win, but that shouldn't be enough to stall him now he's in the mood.

The field isn't particulary strong and wins tend to come irregularly. Resplendent Alpha is the most consistent horse who places frequently but tends to find one or two too good.

Of the others, dangers may come in the form of Yourinthewill, Trachonitis and Lakeman.
