This is a interesting race, at least from a betting perspective, with intertwined National Hunt and Flat form lines that make it difficult to benchmark horses easily. Horses like Hi Dancer and Pocket Too haven't been seen on the Flat for a long time, but their hurdles form puts them in with a great chance if making a successful transition to the flat.

Probable favourite Ministerofinterior has winning form on flat and hurdles coruses and won comfortably at Bath just over a week ago. However, he has been reassessed for that win and now shoulders 8lb more tonight. Ad Value looks a doubtful runner but if he lines up, he will be expected to put his shocking latest run behind him when fancied to win. Dan's Heir was just beaten at Redcar on latest outing and small improvement would see him in teh thick of it.

But I'm going to take a chance with POCKET TOO who comes here fresh from a hurdles win 11 days ago and has enjoyed a successful campaign over timber this winter. You have to go back almost four years for his last win on the Flat Turf mind you, although successful on the a/w, hence the risk factor. But he is alloted a very low weight if considered on the pick of his form and it's interesting that Joe Fanning takes the ride.

Pocket Too will be fit and ready for this, is suited by the trip and ground, and can get off to a winning start on the flat under the steering of Joe Fanning.
