CHICAGO CUBS TO WIN ML AT ODDS 1.97
Final result: 1 - 3Profit: 0.00 - 6 = -6
Atlanta Braves (18-12) at Chicago Cubs (12-17)
Chicago won the first matchup of this series yesterday night with 5-1.
The Cubs are improving from a sloppy start into the season. They've won two straight and 3 of their last 4 outings. They will send Ryan Dempster to the mount tonight. He is still without a win this season over his 4 starts, however, Dempster's 0.95 ERA allowing just 14.4% opponents batting average is far better than his record shows. Dempster allowed only 14 hits, earning 3 runs during the 28 innings he played.
Atlanta saw their 3-game winning streak coming to an end yesterday night and they will try to bounce back tonight. Their road record is at very good 10-7 this season. Randall Delgado will get the start for the Braves tonight. He is 2-3 over his 5 season appearances losing his last three starts. Delgado is posting a 5.14 ERA, and a 27.1% opponents batting average. Over his 28 innings on duty, Delgado allowed 29 hits.
The Cubs have IMO the better starting pitcher and should be bigger favorites at home tonight. The hosts are in a good form winning 4 of their last six and I see them obtaining their 2nd win in this series.
Medium stakes 6/10 on Chicago Cubs to win ML (incl.OT).
Good luck!
