BIRMINGHAM TO WIN AT ODDS 1.91

Second leg of the Championship first round play-offs. Blackpool won the first leg with 1-0.

Well, the aim for Birmingham is clear today. They have a one goal deficit to make up against Blackpool after a tight affair last Friday which finished with a 1-0 home win. That was they first loss after a 11-game unbeaten run for the Blues'. Back in front of their own fans, Birmingham is big favorite to come away with a win. Their home record within the regular season, were they picked up 13 wins out of 23 matches was at impressive 13-9-1. Also take note that Birmingham conceded just 14 goals in those 23 home matches.

Blackpool had a great finish of the Championship season, remaining undefeated over the last 7 match days obtaining 4 wins a three draws. They extended their unbeaten run to 8 after winning the first leg. On the road, the things look quite different, as Blackpool is since six matches without a road win, losing three and drawing two matches. Also take note that their overall away record wasn't spectacular posting a 7-8-8 record over the season. The Seasiders' have lost three of their last four away matches against teams above them, including a 0-3 slap against the same Blues' on New Year's Day.

Birmingham should be bigger favorite IMO and I recommend taking the hosts to win this second leg.
