The "team total gap" differentiate teams. It's counted on the total individual time loose to Taylor Phinney in the first TT, in seconds. (A effort on a long TTT is very near of an effort in short TT).
The other value is the average gap of the five best guys of the team (the time in TTT is couted on the fifth guy) with the best team, here Garmin. It's probably their gap on 10km, so you can multipliate that by three and have an estimation of their gap at the end.
And finnaly I add some colours to see better team very differents and team who stand near. A team in the same colour but one position up will be probably better in the Giro's TTT but a team one position up but with a "more green" coulour will VERY probably best wednesday.
So, following this table, GreenEdge, a team who likes TTT have a lot a chances to finish before BMC.
