OVER 8.50 RUNS TO WIN AT ODDS 2.06
Final result: 4 - 3Profit: 0.00 - 7 = -7
I expect an overish match between the Royals and the Red Sox in Kansas City.
Those two teams combined for 16 and 10 runs in the first two meetings and I expect a similar affair tonight.
Boston tries to win the series with Jon Lester (1-2 4.62 ERA). He has been inconsistent so far this season, while the Royals scored at least four runs in eight of their last 10 matches overall. Kansas City gives the ball to Bruce Chen (0-4 4.98 ERA). The Royals have yet to win a match (six games) with Chen on the mound. In his last three starts he struggled all the way, posting an 8.27 ERA. The Red Sox are hitting the ball pretty well against left handers and I expect a lot of trouble for him.
With that, look for this match to end up overish. It would be no surprise for me if the Red Sox crack this line alone, while the Royals produced also runs recently. Price at 2.06 for over 8.50 runs to win represents enough value for medium-high stakes.
