SEATTLE TO BEAT DALLAS AT ODDS 2.6

Final result: 0 - 2
Profit: 8.00 - 8 = 0

The Seattle Sounders travel to play FC Dallas in what is usually a game of pretty tight margins with two predominately under teams.

Both sides have very good defences. I rate Dallas defence as one of the best in the league but at the moment they just are quite doing it for me, home or away, and with barely half an attack to rely on I think there is good chance they’ll come unstuck again tonight.
Seattle however hasn’t disappointed me in the slightest and in fact I think they’re the best, most all rounded team at the moment. Sure, they might not be able to score like DC or San Jose, or even RSL, but they’ve been the most consistent during their games so far and without doubt the most all rounded side.
Why? Because they score goals, and don’t concede them. A team that can win 1-0 or 2-0 every week, or take a 0-0 when they struggle to get going away from home is better than any side that just win by outscoring opponents in huge over games.

8 games in to the season and Seattle have conceded only 3 goals in their 8 games – in which they’ve picked up 6 wins and a draw including games against LA, DC & Houston.
Dallas are 10 games in to their season now and have only won 3. They’ve already conceded 14 goals, and 6 at home. That might not sound so bad, but they conceded 13 I believe during the whole of last season’s home games.
They’ve also kept 10 clean sheets, and so far they’ve only kept 1 which really was a drab game which should have rightfully finished 0-0 with New England, but they got a bit of luck with a set piece in injury time.
Ricardo Villar, David Ferreira, Andrew Wiedeman, Carlos Rodriguez, Daniel Hernandez, Bobby Warshaw and Blas Perez will all miss this game.
The important two for me are Blas Perez and Daniel Hernandez. However, (updated), I’ve also found out today that Ugo Ihemelu will miss the game with a concussion he randomly turned up to training with – he is their best centre back and club captain, they are literally falling apart.
All of those players add something to the team, but Daniel Hernandez is the biggest part of this FC Dallas team. He plays an important role in midfield and he’s just a born leader, someone is going to have to step up big time without him, but it’ll be hard for FC Dallas.
Brek Shea missed the last game as a pre-caution I understand, so at least FCD have him fit, but I don’t think you can expect Shea to carry the team on his own against a defence as good as Seattle’s.
I suspect Marcelina, Sealy, Jackson & Luna all could start this game. Two new acquisitions in there with two guys up top that haven’t had as much playing time as others, and Sealy has certainly struggled so far, through no fault of his own.
They will definitely come out and battle and it’ll be a lively game, but with a fully fit Sounders side that has Rosales, Estrada and now Johnson and Montero scoring, with Osvaldo Alonso looking one of the best players in the league right now when he’s breaking up that play – Seattle have more than enough to take 3 points from a battered FCD side – so let’s hope they do!

Nice tip! 1
