Trainer John Berry and jockey T G Mcglaughlin are profitable to follow at Yarmouth, and BATGIRL overpower her rivals for this Class 4 David Brooks Memorial Handicap. She's my top rated weight-adjusted horse in the race and was an unlucky runner-up over this C&D last month.
Jawhar rates a threat and won his maiden in good enough style in September on softish ground. My problem with Jawhar is he hasn't done enough on the track to justify even money/odds-on and has to overcome a six month absence, whereas the selection has a fitness edge.
European Dream is likely to appreciate the soft ground and dangerous, as is Prince Sorrento who is in winning form but has to shoulder an additional 5pb for his latest win and the handicapper may just have his measure now.
