Final four 2nd semi-final in Istanbul (Efes Arena) between Greek side Olympiacos and the Catalans from Barcelona.

Against all expectations I don't see Barca winning this one so easy if at all. I've watched two of their last four ACB league matches and they disappointed me largely. Against Valencia and Manresa they had a double-digit lead in the first half and fell down in the second half nearly losing both matches. The old Barca disease was at work once again. They dominate for 3/4 of the match and show they "eat my shorts" attitude in the last quarter. The same happened in the last two matches where they should had lost both matches against Caja Laboral and Real Madrid. They may be experienced but this is a Euroleague final four and all four teams aren't just like that among the 4 best European team.

Olympiacos led by Spanoulis plays a team-oriented ball game and will make a huge effort today against Barcelona. Bearing in mind that expect to Spanoulis and Antic they have a relative young and unexperienced team, one may think that they don't stand a chance today. But IMO exactly the opposite is true here. This young lads will fight for every given ball today and show their best to be close as longer they can. The more this game advances and the closer this game remain, the bigger are the chances for Olympiacos to make a big upset today. On top of that, they already won against Efes in this same Arena this year, so they are already familiar with the Sianan Erdem court.

I expect everything else than a walk in the park for Barcelona here, and I wouldn't be surprise either to see the Greek side to qualify for the final today. As said, Barca showed more than a dozen of times this season that they're simply to inconsistent in their performances and IMO they're everything else than favorite to win this final four tournament. I expect the same in the other semi-final, were I see Panathinaikos also much closer than everyone expects despite the famous name within the CSKA rooster. I'm with the underdog here. Oly to win including the 7 points.
