It's "moving" day in the Players Championship and the leaderboard is packed tight. The record books tell us that the winner is unlikely to come from too far off the current pace, but with the likes of Tiger, Mickelson and a host of others a handful of shots back you have to think we're a long way off crowning a winner just yet. If I had five picks at this stage, I still wouldnt be confident of selecting the winner.

My pre-tournament picks are in the mix: joint leader Zach Johnson and Ben Curtis 3 shots back in 10th. Further, my "cheeky punt" on top englishman is sitting pretty but the big guns are on Davis' tail so long way to go yet.

I have picked out a few select 2-ball bets that offer good value:

Ben Curtis @ 20.19 to beat Bo Van Pelt. Curtis is one of my outright picks and I think he did well today to defend his total and hang in there when the breaks went against him. All round game superb right now and can see of Bo.

Matt Kuchar @ 11/10 to beat Adam Scott. Kuchar has shot back to back 68s, scrambled when he needed to, putted well and accurate off the tee. Adam Scott has the game for Sawgrass but just think he's more inclined to throw in a wobbly round.
