This week in Madrid I placed a bet against Ferrero because he was coming from an injury and was playing quite a solid player such as Andreev.
He surprised me, he did a great job and a great game, nearly taking a set. I must admit I didn't expect so much about him, and I really felt that him delaying his comeback was really good for him.
Prior to him breaking his wristle, he had done a poor job this year, losing way too many games. In fact he seems to be getting quite old but I don't understand this odds for him.
After being 10 weeks away from the competitions, he comes back with a lot of will power and he seems to want to achieve something. He is a former rank 1, mainly clay player, and although he won't reach that level he defenitely deserves to be in top 30.
I specially liked his serving, when he is mostly known for his returning.
Against him, Kevin Anderson. This guy is not good on clay, and his resutls are mainly on hard surfaces. It is true that he has had some wins on clay this year, but most of them are misleading as his opponents play was poor.
I think that this odds have very good value and they defenitely deserve a bet. I'm not taking higher stakes because it is 1st round, and even if I liked Ferrero... well he's still coming back from an injury and may acuse the lack of competition.

I saw the Spanish this week at Madrid and was bad. I don't think he will be able to win today. He just returned on court and looked most of the times not to have enough time to reach the ball. Anderson is a mug on clay but I see him to be able to win this one.
Odds have increased a lot, and I kind of knew it would happen but I had to write the tip there.

Well the spanish one won. In my opinion his play was good enough for his previous form, I think he has recovered well enough from his injury, considering this was his second game. Not an outstanding result today, I couldn't watch this game though. Still, the very high odds we had this morning made this bet really full of value in my opinion, as high as 2.6 I believe.
