Andy Carroll is changing that, he had a very good run at the end of the season, mainly on the FA Cup with very important goals and that is a competition similar to the Euro.

I think that with Rooney not being able to play for the first games, specially for the starting one against France, Hodgson will look for offensive names and this odds from StanJames seem very good because Carroll is, in my opinion, the best between the english players to fill that spot.

The list will be 23 names long, and according to the english FA it should be published on Wednesday. FIFA needs it officially handed before 29th May.
