Bayern Munich - Chelsea

DIDIER DROGBA TO SCORE ANYTIME

Wow this game is the biggest club game in the world in my view, the Champions league final. This year contested between Bayern Munich and Chelsea at the Allianz Arena, Munich. This has the potential to be a great game but i somehow doubt it will be all that the build up will suggest, i think a more cagey affair is likely.

To start with i will consider Bayern Munich who by their standards havent had the best season no Bundesliga and they have just lost the cup final 5 2 to Dortmund. But they believe this trophy is destined for them this season to win in their home city. A Frightning attack of former blue Robben, Ribery and Gomez should start. One of the best in world football and they will for sure be a big threat, the main point i would like to consider is how the rest of the midfield will shape up. Gustavo is banned and he was a key figure in the semi-final breaking up Madrid attacks which is most probably something they wont need to do much. Bastian Schweinsteiger is a key player and i am sure he will start but how fit is he, for sure he is not the force he has been in previous years. To play alongside him will most probably be Kroos who looks a fantastic talent but their is rumours the other midfield place will go to Muller. If Muller does start it seems to me as a very attacking midfield that could be caught out but obviously has huge creative ability. The defence maybe the weak point of Bayern they conceded 5 against Dortmund in the last game and being without Badstuber they will be even weaker at the back, i am not sure who replaces him but it could be tymoschuk who isnt a natural centre back.


Onto Chelsea who will have the major disadvantage of playing the final effectively away where Bayern know so much about the surroundings. After the disappointments of Moscow and being cheated out of a semi-final against Barca they know this could be the last opportunity to get their hands on the prized asset. They have been a changed side with Di-Matteo and have just won the f.a cup. Cfc will be missing Captain and leader John Terry who has saved the club on many occasions but he also has let them down like in Barca where they managed without him. Also Ivanovic is suspended which means Chelsea must start with if fit Cahill and Luiz who arent bad replacements at all to have but there are doubts of fitness of both of them. Taking that they make it Ashley Cole and Bosingwa will probably flank them though if Cahill misses out Ferrira will come into right back with Bosingwa into centre back. The midfield will be Mikel and Lampard who will have a huge job containing the attacking force of Kroos and Muller. Meireles and Ramires are missing also threw suspension and the later especially is a huge miss with counter attacking tactics Di-Matteo has installed. Kalou and Mata will also probably start leaving one other midfield space which may go to Essien depending on how Di-Matteo approaches the game. He will probably pick Essien and pack the midfield not giving out much space. The lone striker role has to go to Didier Drogba who may be playing his last game for Chelsea after 8 years with the club. Drogba for me can be the key to Chelsea winning games as if he is on form he can be unplayable. Drogba normally finds himself for the big occasion and there is no bigger than this. I may be wrong but i think he has scored in at least 7 cup finals for Chelsea which is unbelievable record.

This game is to tight to call a result and i would probably call a bias opinion anyhow, My head says Bayern. My heart Chelsea. One thing for sure for me is that Drogba will have an impact on this game and him to score anytime is a brilliant price.
