Despite losing their last game, Dehli are top of the league and practically assured of making the play-offs. However, they will be smarting from their defeat last time and in front of their home fans will be determined to secure a victory today. They are up against a dangerous Kings XI who still have realistic ambitions of making the play-offs - but they need to win today and probably their final two games too.

Many people - myself included - expected Delhi's form to dip when Kevn Petiersen returned back to the UK. But if anything, his replacement David Warner has raised the bar higher still. He has been in formidable form as an opener and he's my idea of Top Delhi Batsman today. I think Delhi will name an unchanged line-up while they still need the points to guarantee a play-off berth and will then swap a few players around to get their 'reserves' competition-primed for the play-off games.

I think the price about the Daredevils is a little skinny given the nature of the IPL - every team has a chance - but their batting order, in particular, is so strong in-depth its difficult to see them losig this game.

The Kings XI have the bigger incentive and they have match winners too - the likes of Gilchrist maybe back in the side and Hussey has produced some decent knocksand even proved economical with the ball.

Th Daredevils have the confidence, quality with bat and ball, to win this comfortably.

For top batcman, I can't see past David Warner for Delhi @ 3/1 - Sehwag looks the best alternative. For Punjab, it's a toss-up between opener Mandeep Singh and David Hussey - both have let me down before - but I'll have a small wager on Singh to get himself comfortable at the crease and make at least 40 before making way.
