Rome quarter finals and we have a great match here. These playerds faced each other 15 times before and Nadal has a 12-3 record.

Nadal is just Nadal, we don't need introduction. He was pretty weird at Madrid but it's easier to blame the blue clay than trying to find another explenation. Despite Madrid, he was pretty consistent at Rome and I'm sure he wants to keep the shape for Roland Garros as it's getting near. Verdasco was the only defeat at clay season, and he stompped the opponents most of his games, losing a set just to Verdasco.

Berdych is having a fantastic clay season. He is coming from a final at Madrid and only Djokovic and Federer were able to defeat him at clay season. Here, he had great games against Kubot and Almagro but he wasn't that good. Against Kubot he struggled a lot at 1st set, normal for a 1st appearence. Almagro gave some work to him either but he was great most of time.

Well, they played 3 times at clay and Berdych was able to win just 1 set. Beside this,at 2 of these games, Nadal had a 6-0.
For me, Berdych is just too tired since he is coming from a final at Madrid and games that he had to focus a lot against dangerous players. On the other side, Nadal left Madrid early and had matches that couldn't be easier here. I really believe Nadal can win it clearly and stomp at least 1 set.
