Spanish ACB league play-offs. Quarter-final, game 2.
Barcelona leads the series 1-0 after winning game 1 by 73-43.
I'm taking this one early as I expect that this opening line will shortly be at around 132.5 points with the same odds.
Not much has changed expect to home-court advantage. As I've already written here:
The hosts simply lack any real weapon to harm this Barca side. Game 1 was over before it even began, as Barcelona took an early lead and finished the 1st quarter by outscoring Alicante with 21-6. The regular season matchup at the same place ended in a clear 83-57 win of Barcelona. Anything else than another easy win of Barcelona would be a huge surprise.
Take note that Llompart returns to the roster of Alicante, however, they're still without three players; Tyrone Ellis, Benjamin Dewar and Andy Rautins. The only real way for Alicante to make a great upset is to stick once again to a strong defense and to run the shot-clock down. I don't have to mention the defensive abilities of Barcelona once again. Expect once again a slow-pace in this game, there is absolutely no reason for this two teams to be in a rush ...
The combined averages for Alicante and Barcelona are at 134.8 overall (Alicante scored/Barcelona allowed) and at 140.5 for the home respectively away matches.
Until further notice, take the under in this series ...
Medium-High stakes 7/10 on under 136.50 points.
