The truth is that both players are having quite a bad season on clay this year, but they are very different.
It is quite long since Falla has come to a clay tournament and done great, because I don't consider Madrid as clay.
But in fact he holds a great clay play and he might have something to say here at Nice. I don't think he is looking at Paris yet, because there he won't have much chances but this week he has a shot at a tourney, if the other players do look at Paris.
Istomin is just bad on clay, and he has had just 2 wins this year on this surface. No merit for either of them.
He should be kicked on first round as he usually is on this surface.
I see Falla as a clear winner of this game.

Nice odds, congrats on finding them. Though do you really think Falla or Istomin will get anywhere in Paris? I think they'll both be giving it there all, nice write up and I'm with you on Falla.

Just check the players playing into this tournament. Falla may have a chance here if the best ones decide to drop and go to Paris. I don't think Falla has anything to do on Paris besides getting some good points for passing the first rounds, where he should have no problems. Istomin... well, he must be waiting for the next surface to come, and even grass is not good for him. Istomin is just bad on clay so he will be on Paris... to check the ambient? the city? don't really know.
