We have a former world number 1 against a medium player here at Nice 1st round. They played once before but it was 6 years ago so it really doesn`t matter.

Ferrero was just too bad. Rome was the 1st championship he was able to win more than 1 game this year. And he stopped at Roger Federer and he won a set against Federer. So, we have to consider he improved a lot at Rome. He also won Kevin Anderson and Monfils in straight sets and I see both of them really better than Haase.

Haase is having a decent clay work. He just lost to better players, except the game against Quahab, he lost twice to Wawrinka, and also to Giraldo and Djokovic. He stopped at Wawrinka at Rome after winning Malisse and Stakhovsky.

Well, most of the games Ferrero lost, was to aggressive players. Which is not the case when we`re talking about Haase. Haase is much more a fast runner that keep his game behind the baseline and don`t step too much into the court.
Ferrero is very experienced and I`m sure he will make Haase run more than Forrest Gump. He is skilled enough to distribute the balls to both sides and wait for the right ball for the winner.
