Seattle have been in great form this season, and they look the best I've seen them for quite a while. They missed out on the MLS Cup last year and to me they look hungry to avoid the same disappointment this time around.

They're coming off the back off a 2-2 draw away to Vancouver, and they make a small habit of going Over in away games. At home however, they tend to go under.

The reason they tend to go under is because they have in my opinion, the best defence in the MLS when at home. CL Field has always been a tough place to play, but this season they looked more of a unit than ever before.

This market in a way is like win to nil. It can't win if the Crew score, but I really fancy Sounders to win this game with a clean sheet and the odds of 2.25 are a massive step down from the odds of 3.50 for this tip.

The more concerning risk for me in this bet is Seattle scoring 3 goals, and I'd price a 3-0 win certainly more likely than a 2-1 win in this game. That said, Columbus are a very stingy side and whilst they are poor and struggle to hit the back of net, they have a pretty good tendency to lull sides to sleep at times, and pull them in to their game.

They defend pretty well when they travel, and they certainly don't play an attacking game like they have done at home during times this season. I watched them during a 0-0 with Portland and they were moments away from a 0-1 win at the Earthquakes on Sunday night, only to throw away a late goal.

I also think we have a good indication of the type of game it'll be when you look at Houston and Colorado's trips to Century-Link. They finish 2-0 and 1-0 to Seattle. They completely summed up how hard it is to go to this place and find a good balance.

Seattle will put Columbus under just as much pressure as they do most other teams here, and although Crew will without doubt have the plan of going to put 11 men behind the ball and playing on the break they'll soon realize like everyone is 9/10 that's just going to backfire against Seattle, and you're asking to get beat.

Final word... Do I expect Seattle to win? Yes, but Columbus should provide enough stubborn resistance to keep it to 0-0 for at least 45 minutes and they shouldn't give up too many goals.
