I had the price for this game a lot closer with Croatia only slight favourites and so have to take Ireland on the Asian Handicap.

The Croatian side is a lot weaker than in previous years with a lot of reliance on Modric in the midfield area. Defensively they look very weak with a lot of offensive players in the team and the defence looking poor with no real quality options.

Ireland are a typical hard working side with no real star players but under Trappotinni they are very well organised and hard to beat. They also have attacking threat in McGeady, Keane and Doyle.

I don't think there is too much between these sides and see Ireland as the value here.
