Ron Harris's FARAWAY is becoming a little frustrating, not to mention expensive, to follow but is given one more chance here. He hasn't finished outside the first 4 in his last five races, but despite looking like the form choice he always seems to find a couple too good. Today could be another case in point, especially against Russian Bullet who is well drawn and should go well.

But for all his disappoointment, Faraway is at least consistent and is sure to give us a run for our money at a decent price. He has gradually stepped down the handicap and looks to have a good chance at today's weights. His table are in good form and today could be the day he gets off the mark for the season. I am going for a little insurance by backing him each-way to recover our stake should he placed once again.

Sir Mark Prescott's Athenian is making her handicap debut and is a threat on her seasonal reappearance. Russian Bullet looks the one to beat and has just about the best recent form and has won over C&D albeit in a lowly claimer. Illustrious Lad is another for the short list. He wasn't beaten by far over 7f earlier this year but has something to prove after his poor run last time.
