This game will be played on Italy, so they may have an edge here. It's not a real handicap for Croatia because they come with a great moral boost.
I didn't expect them to, but they pulled ahead a great game and won against Spain this past weekend, managing to qualify for the Olympic Games. I'm betting on this game because they are now going with their full squad to Italy.
Italy has no good players at all, they didn't qualify for last European Championship or World Cup and are never counted on handball. They just have no good teams for good players to arise.
They have lost the 4 games they have played in this qualifier, including a 39-14 loss against Croatia.
The difference won't be so great for this game because this time Croatia will slow down, but even with their second tier team Croatia would win this game easily.
I think the bookies are giving Italy too much credit, and a bet on Croatia to cover this handicap sounds great.
You might take Croatia ML for 1.01 but... no reason to do that.

I did not know about the marriage... Tatari and Franic are quite important for the team so this might now be a worse idea that I thought... oh well! I don't think they are back for their last game, this weekend, will they? Italy has no power. They play near Treviso, and northern Italy is were handball is more popular, if anywhere at all... I may need some luck :)
Croatia will be without Kristina Franic and Miranda Tatari. Kiki gets married and Miranda is the witness to that marriage (or can you say best woman, he he) - Wedding party instead playing some handball ... Yes, Croatia won game 1 with 40-15 but it seems that Italy improved their game losing with just -5 against Denmark. I don't know without how many the Danish dynamite played, but that may be the reason why the HC is so low here. Besides, it's never a good idea to back euphoric Croatians after a huge win, they simply become complacent and mostly blow the next game. Anyway, I wish you good luck on that one mate. Cheers,

How did you dare to scare me? :) I saw a bit of the game on bet365 tv, and Italy has nothing. They do have a women league, but not enough players to choose from and the level is just not good enough. Their fitness is obviously worse, most aren't professional, so the team just... plays worse. Great margin after all, but I didn't include it in a combo because of those players missing. Thanks for telling me though, as I will take it into consideration for their game this weekend.
