Ireland are in a very difficult group - Croatia, Spain & Italy. They'll be underdogs in all 3 games and despite being capable of competing against almost any team they're very limited from an attacking perspective as Trapatonni will play a completely defensive set up and hope to win a game 1-0 and get a draw or two even with 0-0 to get out of group - he simply has no idea or intention of permitting Ireland to attack

This bet with Ladbrookes allows Ireland to score twice and for us still to win and I'd be shocked if they manage to score more than that

Ireland have made 4 Major finals and scored 2, 2, 2, & 5 goals so only once have beaten this line and that included a 3-0 result against Saudi Arabia which was a very weak opponent. During this spell Ireland had a much more talented squad than they currently have and much more attack minded managers so I fail to see how they can score 3 times in this tournament with a much more limited squad and a much more defensive minded manager who will resude to attack until the absolute last possible minute
