Team matchup: Oroiles have losted shape in the last games. They play greatly from the start of the season and now they are behind the Rays in Amercian League East with record 30-24 from beginning. Tzhey won only twice from last ten games. They are away 16-11 and against teams from American League East are 15-14 and against lefthanded are 8-6. Red Sox oppositly with bad start due to several injuries and still afew absences pending. Bigest suspense is Jacoby Ellsbury. They won six from last ten games and away are better than at home with record on Fenway Park is 13-14. Against American League East teams are 10-13 and against righthanded are 18-19.
Pitching matchup: Hammel (Orioles) against Lester (Red Sox). Hammel is a best Orioles pitcher. In this year is very good. From beginning is 6-2 with 3.06 ERA and 1.18 WHIP. At home is great in deed (3-0 and 1.73 ERA) and away is 3-2 and 4.04 ERA. Against Red Sox is 1-0 and 2.70 ERA in this year. On the other side is Lester. I don´t like Lester. He is in this season 3-4 and 4.79 ERA and 1.37 WHIP and away is (2-2 s 3.15 ERA) better than at home with 1-2 and 7.16 ERA. Against Orioles is 4.50 ERA in this year.
Bilateral trends are more appropriate for Red Sox, but I believe Orioles today will find a missing shape from preview games and win. They have a good chance today ti win, due to Hammel start.
