Maria Sharapova has had a strong start to her 2012 season. Not only is she playing well on clay, but she is currently 34-5 overall this year. Strong play coming into major tournaments is very important, and Sharapova is playing brilliant tennis lately. If she wins WImbledon 2012 could shape up to be a great season for the Russian star. I just don't think there's a woman left that Sharapova could face and be considered the underdog.
After the early exit in Paris i don't belive that Serena will be at her top at Wimbledon.
If MaSha serves well and puts double-faults under control than according to me she's the major favorite for the title in London.
