Netherlands will face Denmark in the first match in "the group of the death" - Group B. The Dutch are part of the top three teams in world football and will score lots of goals during the tournament. Denmark's defense must stop the likes of Robin van Persie, Arjen Robben, Ibrahim Affelay to have a chance at keeping this match competitive. The only weakness for Netherlands is their defence but it is questionable if Denmark possess the needed firepower to exploit that weakness. Morten Olsen's side scored 15 goals in qualifying, the second fewest of all the finalists behind Greece (14).
Denmark is the weakest team in this group so Netherlands must win this match if they want to qualify to the quarter-finals.
