Alejandro Valverde has been in good form this year and is as I see it the most dangerous man to threaten either Cadel Evens or Bradley Wiggins.

The tour this year has a lot of TT km's so therefor the climbers must attack Wiggins and Cadel in the mountains if they have to stand a chance of winning.

But Valverde isn't the worst timetrialist that I have seen, and if he can gain some time in the mountains then surely he must be considered a threat in the overall GC.

Valverde was 6 on the last time trial in the Paris Nice, losing only 58 seconds to wiggins. He finished 3rd overall behind Wiggins and Westra. He has also won the Vuelta Andalucia, and been on form in many of his races.

Valverde has more experience than Wiggins, and almost the same as Cadel. So i rank him in the favorit for at least a podium finish, and why not the win. He is better in the mountains than Wiggins and Cadel, in if Valverde is in top shape, he will be a fierce contender.

Only 2 procent, will make this bet valuable, but i consider Valverde to have at least 5 procent of winning the tour de france this year, if he exceels on all cylinders.
