European Championships 2012 - Quarter Finals

Crazy game is football, the Czech finished top of a group that it looked like they would struggle to qualify from whilst Portugal finished ahead of the Netherlands but second to Germany in Group A.

Today we saw what Cristiano Ronaldo can do to weak defeces and i believe he will be the catalysis to drive Portugal to a win over the Czech;s in this quarter final. The Portuguese seem to be getting stronger but the game and should make it past the Czech Republic in 90 minutes.

Czechs have also shown improvement is every game but there group was not very strong, they played considerably weaker sides in the group stage and the to be crowned World Player of the Year should use this platform to cement the accolade. The Czech Republic are not very well organised defensively and should struggle to contain CR7, even if they manage to contain him it will leave gaps to be exploited for others and I like the chances of a Portugal win over 90 mins..
