9 POINTS RSL BEAT LA GALAXY (US FOOTBALL MLS) @1.8 WILLIAM HILL

Real Salt Lake take on Los Angeles in this midweek game and what a turnaround we have seen from LA as they won the MLS championship last year but this year languish down 3rd from bottom in the Western Conference league and 4th from bottom if you look at the entire MLS and I think that the excellent in form RSL will win this match with ease.

RSL have the best record if you look at the entire MLS and at home having played 7 matches they have won 6 and lost 1 and that loss was a defeat to Chivas very early in the season. They have scored in all bar one of their home matches and have scored 13 home goals in those 7 matches. In their last 3 matches they have won all of them and scored 8 goals and conceded just 3 so they are building their form and momentum as they enter the 2nd half of the season and will relish playing an LA team who are having a lot of problems this season.

As mentioned already LA are struggling this year to perform anyway near as good as they were last year and having played 14 matches (home and away) they have won just 4, drawn 3 and lost 7 and they have 2 fundamental problems in that they are struggling to score many goals particularly when playing away from home but they are also leaking a lot of goals and thats a bad combination. They have conceded in all bar 1 game this season and in total have conceded 21 goals whilst they have failed to score 4 times (3 of those were when they play away) and have scored 16. Their away form is most concerning for them having played 6 matches they have won just 1, drawn 1 and lost 4 and having scored just 4 goals on their travels and conceded in all their away games they will surely struggle to contain the best team in the league currently. LA have played all 5 teams in the top 5 (4 at home and 1 away) and have won 1 and lost the other 4 of those matches so have struggled all season against the top teams and I cant see them overcoming a very good RSL team who should win this match.
