At todays 1st race at Royal Ascot, it looks to be an absolute cracker!! I cant personally call a winner so am going to have a go on the place market via williamhill. I think Valbchek to be placed in the top 3 is a very safe bet and having a 100% record so far this season, i think this stands a great chance in a fairly open race over 7f!

Held in high regard by trainer who knows what's needed for this (won it twice last decade) and sent off favourite both races, narrowly beating Swiss Spirit in 6f sales race on good ground at Newmarket's Craven meeting; repeat of that unlikely to be good enough but connections were talking of this race back then and he could easily find necessary improvement to threaten with Ryan Moore again taking the ride.

Ryan Moore is a great jockey and that will give this horse's chances of coming top 3 a big big boost!
