I am excited to see the odds in this match up where they have made LA Angels favourites to win and seem to have underestimated LA Dodgers Chris Capuano.
The Dodgers have started the season so well but their current form has dwindled a bit lately.
This is the second matchup of this series with the Angels winning last night by a score of 8 to 5. This is probably why bookmakers made them favourites tonight as the Angels were down by 5 runs early in the match but rallied back to pick up the win.
This adds to the first series between the teams where it is advantage to Angels who are now 2-1.
The Angels have won five of their last six games which has brought them back into the race in the AL West behind Texas. They will want to continue their good form to take them into a playoff place.
Pitching for the Dodgers is Chris Capuano who comes in with an impressive record of 8-2 with a 2.71 ERA. He struggled earlier this month but now finding his way back and is on tremendous form.
He will be facing Ervin Santana for the Angels who had a terrible start to the season. His 4-7 record with a 5.16 ERA.
Despite the recent team form I think the Dodgers are being underrated here, Capuano is a quality pitcher who can hold any team to a few runs and I will be one of those to take advantage tonight. I'm backing the Dodgers and hope this pays off.
