Italy will meet Germany on the Stadion Narodowy in Warszawa, the capital of Poland.
First of all I am well impressed that the odds are so high for an Italian win and I am very glad to see this. Germany is the favorite of the match and is the favorite against any side that plays against, very clear, but to give the 0dds 5.00 as Ladbrokers has now is total madness.
Italy changed somehow the playing style under Prandelli. They have a good defensive play by nature, but on the main stage they brought an elaborated game play in midfield and attack.
Prandelii's teams have always played a good football. I remember Hellas Verona in the period 1998-2000, Parma 2002-2004 with Camoranesi, Mutu, Adriano, Gilardino upfront, same as on Hellas Verona, also a good job with Fiorentina for 5 long years.
Germany has a young and talented squad, in fact I think they have 3 squads as every of first 30 players in Germany can play great football.
But here, in this meting, there is a tradition that says Italy haven't lost against Germany in last 7 matches played on final tournaments including that 1970.
Unfortunately Italy is missing someone like Pipo Inzaghi. They have this crazy Balotelli guy that is missing incredible chances. If Italy would have had Inzaghi with England surely would have been 5-0 at half time ...
Cassano is nowhere near the standards, but the rest of the team is full of solid players. Expect to see Di Natale tonight, one that can create nightmares to Zee Germans!

might like to also point out that italy have only won 1 game in 90mins so far at the euros and that was against the weakest team in the cup.
@Shazar22, I don't think Italy having a couple fewer days of rest is going to affect the fatigue. Italy still had 3 full days to recover. There professionals, they should handle 3 days full rest between two matches. That Germany had 3 strikers not playing against Greece, thats not a real advantage for Italy to get fatigued in the 2nd half. Italy themselfs have a couple of fresh players aswell (Di Natale for instance). On topic: I am not sure who will or can play, I think Italy have some defensive issues with not everyone available. Is Chiellini playing for instance? Both team will have defensive issues, though and both have great midfielders and strikers to compensate. At odds of 4.91 for Italy though, thats great value for me aswell.
i can see were your coming from sporting but arnt you afarid the Italians will fade in the 2nd half...they had 2 days less then the Germans to rest plus they played the extra time against the English. plus the Germans even rested 3 of there players when they played Greece.
