Los Angeles Dodgers - New York Mets

DODGERS TO WIN

New York Mets visit the LA Dodgers in a four game series.  This is ver important for both teams as they are both out of form lately .

The Mets find themselves in third place in the NL East now with a 40-36 overall record and 4.5 games back of leaders Washington.  They will be very disappointed having lost their last series to a poor side in Chicago Cubs.  They did make up for it in the final game of the series by blowing the Cubs out by a score of 17-1.

The Dodgers have cooled off after having a huge lead in the NL West earlier in the season.  They are now evens with San Francisco with a record of 43-33.  They lost a three game series to the Giants and failed to score a run.

They will be looking to lefty Chris Capuano to get them back to winning ways tonight and he certainly has done that this season.  His record of 9-2 with a 2.60 ERA is excellent and he is even better at home with a 5-0 record and a 1.57 ERA.

The Mets will turn to Chris Young who is 1-1 this year with a 3.42 ERA. 

I can see the Dodgers will look to attack to rediscover their form and with Capuano’s amazing home form I can see a Dodgers win.
