This is the 2nd round game from group D consisting of Norway, Romania, Brazil, Croatia, Tunisia and the Netherlands.

In the first round match, Croatia's women where very close to a sensation being defeated by main title favorite Norway but just one goal (21-22). Croatia took an early 10-3 lead, but the Norwegian girls could equalize even before halftime which ended 13-13. In the 2nd half we saw a wide open match with just one goal difference on either side. That result proves that Croatia is among the best teams at this tournament among of course all the Scandinavian teams like Norway, Sweden, Danmark and the Russian girls as main threat to Norway for the title. This is a pretty open group, with Norway as clear favorite to end up in first place. Behind them, we can expect a tight fight between the national teams of Brazil, Romania, Netherlands and Croatia for the following places. Tunisia is clearly the weakest team in this group. The Netherlands are a pretty dangerous team too, as they play with some players who are within the first team of the Netherland national team. Romania and Croatia are pretty close to each other, and Brazil will most likely end up in 5th place within this group.

As for Tunisia. They've lost their opener in this group against Romania with 28-37. As Romania and Croatia are on a similar level, it's to expect that also the Croatian girls will cover the given spread of -7.5 goals tonight.
