I will go with R.A. Dickey as an underdog almost every time he takes the mound. Despite his success this season, he continues to get no love from oddsmakers. Dickey is 12-1 with a 2.40 ERA and 0.933 WHIP in 17 starts in 2012 with 123 strikeouts in 120 innings.
Tommy Hanson is just 3-3 with a 4.63 ERA and 1.479 WHIP in eight home starts this year for the Atlanta Braves. In his last three starts against New York, Hanson has allowed 12 earned runs, five home runs, and 24 base runners over 15 1/3 innings.
