J DUFNER 1-5: THE OPEN

I know Dufner is not really in a great shape but sometimes you have to take a gamble and I'll do it with this one. He's a great player but like I said before, out of shape.
In his last 5 tourneys he has won twice, finished 2nd once and 4th once.
He has the game to do well around Royal Lytham & St.Annes as he is very straight and can certainly remain patient.
I also like the fact that Dufner has played as well as anyone in recent Major Championships.
He could and should of won the PGA Championship last season. He led the US Masters after 36 holes and also contended at Olympic Club finishing T4.
So Dufner knows what's it's like to contend and I wouldn't be surprised to see his name near the top of the leaderboard Sunday evening.
